Create groups of students for elementary scheduling. Groups are homerooms of students.
Then, use platoons to create subgroups of students. For example, there might be a group of ESL students within a homeroom that attend different sections.
To create student groups, do the following:
- Assign next homerooms for students.
- Create and assign platoon codes for specific students, if necessary.
- Create student groups for elementary scheduling.
After you enter members into a group, assign the group to a program. This schedules all students within a group in all the courses within the program.
