Assigning Course Programs to Student Groups (Elementary scheduling only)

After you create student groups for elementary scheduling, you need to assign a course program to each group. This schedules all students within a group into the courses in that program.

Note: If you have students in subgroups, click to view the platoons within a homeroom, or click Show nested groups at the top of the page. Assign subgroups to course programs separately from their groups.

To assign course programs to student groups:

  1. Log on to the Build view. If the current school has the scheduling mode set to Both, select Build > Elementary mode.
  2. Select Global > Student Groups.
  3. Select Options > Modify List.
  4. Click Edit icon. in the Program>Crs No column header.
  5. For each student group, type or click Search icon. to select the course program.
  6. Click in the column header to save your entries.

Now, all students within a group are enrolled in the courses within the program you assigned to the group. Next, go to the Workspace to schedule the courses.
