View at-risk student alerts

A student might be associated with an alert icon , which represents an at-risk status and level.

At-risk definitions can consist of different levels, with each level represented by an icon, usually of a different color. For example, a red icon could indicate high risk, while a yellow icon might indicate medium risk.

The alert appears in the breadcrumbs on student detail pages and on student pages that have an At Risk Alerts column in the field set, if allowed by the district's (root organization's) Student preferences and the user's security role privileges for Student Alert.

Note: Your organization might have several at-risk definitions. For example, if your organization uses two at-risk definitions and a student meets both sets of criteria, each associated with an at-risk icon, then two icons appear next to the student's name. When you hover over an at-risk alert icon, the name of the at-risk definition that generated the icon appears.

Each at-risk alert icon reflects the most recent result generated from running an at-risk definition. Click the at-risk alert icon for details about the student's at-risk results.

The at-risk alert pop-up shows the at-risk indicator category, indicator name, and points associated with each indicator. The student's overall at-risk points also appear.
