Define Conduct Preferences for Intermediate Organizations and Schools

If your school takes detention attendance more than once per day, define conduct preferences to name the detention sessions.

Note:  If your school does not set these preferences, you will see the district values.

To define school conduct preferences:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • For an intermediate organization: Log on to the Intermediate Organization view. Select the associated tab > Setup > Preferences.
    • For a school: Log on to the School view. Select School> Preferences.
  1. Click the Category drop-down to select Conduct. The Conduct preferences appear.

  1. Use the three Session Name fields to distinguish among the different times of day or locations where your school takes detention attendance. For example, you could call them AM Detention, PM Detention, and Saturday Detention.
    Note: You do not have to use all three fields.
  1. Click Save.
