Associate the school to the build year

After you define the school year you want to build your schedule for in the District view, you need to associate that school year with the build year for the school.

For example, if you create the school year 2020-2021 in the District view, you need to log on to your school in the School view and select 2020-2021 as the build year, or the year you want to build a schedule for.

To associate the school with the build year in the School view:

1. Log on to the School or District view.
2. Click the District tab.
3. Click the Schools side-tab. Select a school. The Details page appears.
4. On the Details sub-tab, at the Build Year Context field, select the year you want to build a master schedule for.

   Note: Select the ending year of the build year, such as 2021 for 2020-2021.

5. Click Save.

Now, copy the courses your school is using this year to the build year.
