Creating Health Alerts

When a student has a medical condition that is important or helpful to be aware of, there are two types of alerts you can create for a student's record:

  • Health conditions alerts : Created in the Health view by nurses as a quick reminder of a student's condition. Teachers and staff members do not have access to this information.
  • Medical alertsMedical Alert icon. : Usually created in the Health view (but can also be created in the District or School view) to let users with appropriate privileges know about a student's medical condition, such as asthma or an allergy. To keep the details of an alert private, type See nurse in the description.

Note: Student alerts must be manually deleted when they no longer pertain to the student.
