Taking Detention Attendance

Take detention attendance in the School view by clicking the Conduct tab, Detentions side-tab. A roster of students with unserved detentions as of a specified date appears. When a student is marked present, a Detention Served record is created, giving them credit for a single detention.

Detention actions are automatically closed when the number of detentions served matches the action penalty time. Students are removed from the roster when they no longer have outstanding detentions.

Note: If your detention monitor does not have access to the Conduct tab, click the Quick Print menu icon Quick Print icon, and print the list for them. You can enter the information in Aspen later.
