System Administration

Use the Admin and District tabs row of buttons across the top of the Aspen user interface in the District view to configure district (root organization an entity that contains one or more schools) and school settings.

In the District view, on the District tab, users with access can perform the following administrative tasks:

• Run the End-of-Year Rollover wizard.
• Define preferences for schools within the district (root organization).

Note: You can also log on to the School view, School tab to define school details and preferences, and create school calendars and schedules.

In the District view, on the Admin tab, users with access can do the following:

• Define organization levels in Aspen.
• Create Aspen user accounts.
• Manage the Data Dictionary.
• View who is logged on to Aspen at any time.
• Manage the job queue.
• Create reference codes.
