Define extracurricular event information

When a staff member creates an event for an extracurricular activity, they determine whether attendance should be taken at it.

Students with the statuses selected here:

  • Appear on the event's attendance list.
  • Can view the event on their calendar in the Family and Student portals.

To define extracurricular program student status information:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Log on to the District view. Click the District tab, and on the Setup side-tab, click Preferences.
    • Log on to the School view. Click the School tab, and on the Setup side-tab, click Preferences.
  2. Click the Category drop-down to select Extracurriculars. The Extracurriculars preferences page appears.
  3. Page listing extracurricular event status codes

  1. Click Search icon at Extracurricular Event Status Codes to see the Reference Code - Common pick list.
  2. Select the status code(s) that students must have for:
    • Their names to appear on the attendance page for an extracurricular program's event.
    • An event to appear on their calendar in the Family and Student portals.
    • Access to an extracurricular program's Page.
  1. Click OK to close the pop-up .
  2. Click Save.
