Define District (Root Organization) or Intermediate Organization events

Use Aspen to schedule district, intermediate organization, and school events. You can track dates and locations for the events, and students and family members can view them on their calendars in the Student and Family views.

To define an event:

1. Do one of the following:
• To define a district event, log on to the District view. Click the District tab, then the Events side-tab.
• To define an intermediate organization event, log on to the Intermediate Organization view. Click the associated tab, then the Events side-tab.
• To define a school event, log on to the School view. Click the School tab, then the Events side-tab.

2. On the Options menu, click Add. The New Event page appears.
3. Type the information for the event.
4. Click Save.
