Course recommendations are not appearing in teacher's gradebook

First, make sure that a timeframe has been set up for recommendations.

1. Go to the School view.
2. Select School tab.
3. Click the Setup side-tab, then Preferences.
4. Click the Category drop-down to select Schedule. The school scheduling preferences appear.
5. Look at the Teacher recommendation section.

6. Check the Recommendation window start and end dates. Make sure they are accurate.
7. Also, check the Number of recommendations field. Make sure that it isn’t 0.

Next, check the course preferences to make sure that recommendations have been allowed:

1. Go to the School view.
2. Select Schedule > Courses side-tab. The school course catalog appears.
3. Modify your field set so that you see the Allow recommendation field.
4. Make sure that it is populated with Y’s. If not, you can mass update the field to change its value.

   Note: If neither of these options works, you can have teachers check their gradebook preferences.
