Populate homerooms using the schedule

After you build and commit a schedule, you can use the schedule to populate homerooms for students or teachers.

For example, you can create homerooms based on the sections each teacher teaches on Day 1, Period A.

To populate homerooms:

  1. Log on to the School view.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Student tab to populate homerooms based on student schedules.
    • Click the Staff tab to populate homerooms based on teacher schedules.
  1. On the Options menu, click Populate Homerooms. The Populate Windows pop-up appears.
  2. Click Search icon. to select the term, day, and period.
  3. Select to update homerooms for the currently selected staff or students, or all.
  4. Click OK.
