Create health screening templates

You can set up extended dictionariesClosed Data Dictionaries which define fields for forms to create specialized health screening pages.

Example: A nurse might want to customize a student's health screening to include all hearing-related fields on the hearing screening page. You will need to define the fields in the table first before you can adjust the templates.

To define health screening fields:

  1. Log on to the District view.
  2. Click the Admin tab.
  3. Click the Data Dictionary > Extensions side-tab. The Extensions page appears.
  4. In the ID column, select the checkbox for the health screening extension you want to add fields to.
  5. On the Extensions side-tab, click Tables > Fields. The list of fields in the table appears.
  6. To add a new field, select Options > Add. The New Extended Field page appears.
  7. Enter the information for the field.
  8. Click Save.

To adjust health screening templates:

  1. Log on to the District view.
  2. Click the Tools tab, and then click the Templates side-tab.
  3. Select the specific healthScr.screening.history.detail templateClosed a page with a predesigned, customized format, such as the Student Detail page you want to edit.
  4. Edit the template.
