Modify the details of a previewed report

After previewing the report you want to publish, you might need to modify its details.

Use the following table to modify the details of a previewed report:

What to modify

Where to modify it

Any of the following fields:

  • Email subject
  • Email message
  • Viewing start date
  • Viewing end date
  • Cleanup date

To modify these fields for this particular publish run of this report, do the following:

  1. Go to the view and tab where the report is located.
  2. Click Reports and then the name of the report you want to edit.
  3. In the pop-up, click the Publish sub-tab.
  4. Edit the desired field(s).
  5. Click Save.

Note: If, for example, you edit the email message, the next time you publish this report, you will not see your modifications. To edit the default email message for this report, see the Default message field below.

Any of the following fields:

  • Default subject
  • Default message

To modify these fields, which appear as the default for this report every time it is published, do the following:

  1. Go to the District view.
  2. Click the Tools tab.
  3. Click the Reports side-tab.
  4. Click the name of the report that you want to publish.
  5. On the Details page, click the Publish side-tab.
  6. Edit the desired field(s).
  7. Click Save.

Any of the following details:

  • How the report is broken
  • Report description
  • Email recipients
  • Email addresses

To modify these fields, which appear as the default for this report every time it is published, you need to edit the report's Java source.
