'Not a valid meeting date' message when taking class attendance

This could be caused by a number of issues.

First, make sure that schedule day numbers have been assigned in the school calendar. If your school had a snow day, it’s possible that an extra day was added but that it wasn’t assigned a schedule day number.

To check your schedule day numbers:

  1. Go to the School view.
  2. Select School > Calendars. The School Calendar page appears.
  3. Select the checkbox of the current school year.
  4. On the Calendars side-tab, click Dates.
  5. Check the values in the DayNum column. For any date that is in session, there should not be a 0 in the DayNum column. If there is, you need to reassign schedule days.
  6. On the Options menu, click Reassign Schedule Days. The Reassign Schedule Days pop-up appears.
  1. Enter the Start Date and End Date that you need to assign schedule days for. For example, if you had three snow days, you might need to add June 19, 20, and 21 to your calendar.
  2. Click the Initial Schedule Day drop-down to select which day the start date should be. For example, if June 18 is A day, you would want to start with B day.
