Use district staff attendance groups to enter attendance

Your district can use groups of staff members you need to enter and track attendance for at the district level, such as your janitorial staff, or staff members who are not associated with a specific school.

Create district staff attendance groups to take attendance for groups of these district staff members. For example, you might create the code Tech if a team of technology support personnel travels between schools in your district.

To enter attendance for a district staff attendance group:

  1. Log on to the District, Intermediate Organization, or Personnel view.
  2. Click the Attendance tab.
  3. Click the Staff Input side-tab. The Group List page displays the list of district staff attendance groups created for your district.
  4. In the Code column, click the name of the group you want to enter attendance records for. The Staff Input page displays the members of that group.
  5. In the Code column, click the appropriate codes.
  6. If the code you click is associated with a pop-up in your School Staff Attendance preferences, the Attendance Details pop-up appears. To complete the pop-up, see Enter Daily Staff Attendance and Assign Substitutes.
  1. On the Staff Input page, click Save to save the attendance records you enter for all members of the group. The attendance records appear with any codes you entered in the Attendance column. Next to each code, [edit] appears.
