Enter and view attendance for an individual staff member

In the District, Intermediate Organization, School or Personnel view, you can view and enter attendance records for staff members one at a time.

To view and enter staff's attendance records:

  1. Log on to the District, Intermediate Organization,School or Personnel view.
  2. Click the Staff tab.
  3. Select the checkbox of the staff member you want to view or enter attendance records for.
  4. Click the Attendance side-tab.
  5. On the Options menu, click Add. The New Staff Attendance page appears.
  1. Use the table to enter information in the fields:

    Description

    Code

    Type a code, or click Search icon. to select a code for the attendance record.

    Date

    Type the date, or click Select Date icon. to select the date for the attendance record.

    Time

    If you want to collect information on the time a staff member arrived or left for the day, type the time.

    Reason

    Click this drop-down to select a reason code for the attendance record.

    Time absent

    Type the portion of the day that the staff member is absent.

    For example, for one full day, type 1. For a half day, type .5.

    Comment

    Type a comment about the absence, if needed.

    Substitute Type

    If you are viewing an attendance record and a substitute provided coverage for the absent teacher, details about the substitute's coverage appears here.

    If substitute teachers were assigned by period (rather than for the entire day), you can click a period for details about the coverage for that period.

    Note: You can view staff coverage history in the School view, Attendance tab, Staff Covers side-tab.

  1. Click Save.

You can also track staff accrual time and leaves.
